I wanted to get into IT and I thought it was a good start.
I have learnt so much in my time here and continue to do so on a daily basis. The industry is so fast paced that no day is the same.
Hard to do as it encompasses so much and the roles change daily, but generally I manage a team of Technical Analysts and help run the Customer Support Centre with 4 other TSMs and the Call Centre Manager. We do general HR, motivating, development and quality control. We are also involved in projects that the business roll out from a Customer perspective.
When I first joined, they were a small company (we have tripled in size in staff alone). I liked the buzz that you got when you walked into the building and the opportunities to progress. You still get both.
Unlike any I have seen anywhere else. Anyone can (and does) hold anyone else accountable. Strange at first, but excellent when you get used to it.
If you are prepared to work hard, the possibilities are endless. Honestly.
