Successful applicants will join our Graduate Academy training program, learning from our experienced team of developers how to design and implement robust, scalable, multi-tiered web applications and systems and powerful relational databases. You will transfer the core skills from your software-related degree to an agile business environment, picking up the skills of a long-standing and successful delivery team along the way.

You will learn to produce quality-assured software to our published standards, and learn to review code and documentation as part of our peer-review support program. You will learn to review functional specifications and produce technical designs, plans and documentation to support development projects. Ultimately, you will join our project delivery team with career opportunities in a variety of technical and managerial roles.

You will have experience of working with Linux as a development environment and as a web server platform. You will have either an extensive knowledge of PHP or a at least a basic knowledge combined with a desire to transfer your skills from other technologies into PHP.

Requirements:

• BSc or higher in Software Engineering or a related discipline. (Equivalent training or experience will be considered)
• Knowledge of creating web applications on a Linux web-server development platform.
• Strong grounding in PHP, or similar web technologies
• Strong SQL skills and experience in design and implementation of relational databases
• Exceptional written and spoken communication skills and problem solving ability
• English as a first or fluent language
