Terms & Conditions of 'The PlusNet Guarantee' - Withdrawn on Wednesday 31st May 2006

  1. This offer applies only if you are a new PlusNet customer
  2. This offer applies to customers who decide to "migrate out" their service.
  3. You must tell us within 45 days of your service being activated if you wish to take advantage of this offer.
  4. The date at which your contract ends will be calculated according to our standard Terms & Conditions, and the contract period chosen during registration.
  5. We will pay the lesser of:
    1. £12.99 (Inc. VAT), or
    2. the cost charged by your new provider for carrying out the migration.
  6. The money will only be paid upon production of an invoice from your new provider for the migration fee. This must be produced within the 3 months following the end of your contract with us through The Help Assistant
  7. You are responsible for ensuring that we have valid credit/debit card details, in order for us to process your payment.
  8. We reserve the right to vary the Terms and Conditions of the offer. We similarly reserve the right to terminate the offer. Any such changes will normally be announced through our Announcements section available from the Service Status page of our Portal website.
  9. This offer is not open to resellers of any of PlusNet plc's services or accounts provided by those resellers.
  10. All of our standard Terms & Conditions apply, and take precedence over these terms where there may be a conflict.
  11. This offer does not affect your statutory rights.
Migration Rebate Terms and Conditions

  1. This offer applies only if you move an existing Broadband Service to PlusNet and subscribe to Broadband Premier "Up to 2Mb"
  2. The promotion is only available to customers subscribing with a valid debit card or credit card.
  3. The promotion is a limited time offer and we reserve the right to terminate the offer at any point without prior notice.
  4. We reserve the right to vary the Terms and Conditions of the offer. Any such changes will normally be announced through our Announcements section available from the Service Status page of our Portal website.
  5. Customers subscribing to the migration promotion will pay the normal monthly subscription of £21.99 (Inc VAT) in the first 3 months following migration. A rebate of £36.00 (Inc. VAT) will be applied to their credit card or debit card during the fourth month. Customers accepting the rebate will pay cancellation charges on terminating the service within 5 years from joining PlusNet as described in 8 below.
  6. No rebate will be payable if customers change their subscription or account type in any way within the first three months from the date their service is activated.
  7. The customer is responsible for ensuring that a valid credit or debit card is registered with PlusNet to permit the payment of the rebate. If we are unable to process your rebate for more than 30 days then any rebate will be cancelled and customers will be reverted to a standard Broadband Premier contract.
  8. The rebate is offered in conjunction with our "You Stay, We Pay" offer. For every year you stay with PlusNet we will guarantee that the cancellation cost decreases. What does this mean? If you cancel within the first year, then you will pay a total of £50.99. (made up of £14.99 migration costs and £36.00 the cost of the subscription rebate). In year two this reduces to £28.80, year three this reduces to £21.60, in year four this reduces to £14.40 and year five £7.20.
