New Plusnet call plan - same price as BT line rental
Back in July we successfully launched a range of landline phone and broadband packages. From day one our customers have been able to smoothly switch their landline phone to us and have enjoyed the great value service since.
We believe the launch was a success because the developed systems represent the most automated implementation of a call plan and line rental service in the UK. We have now gone on to further improve the landline phone options within our combined phone and broadband packages.
The improvements include a line rental and calls inclusive plan for £11 per month, similar to BT Option 2, that costs £14.95 per month. In fact BT charges £11 per month purely for line rental.
Plusnet Home Phone Evenings and Weekends includes:
Line rental (so there’s no need to pay BT retail)
All Evening and weekend calls to 01 and 02 landline numbers
All other calls at competitive rates
We estimate the average customer will save up to 17% on their monthly calls, that’s on top of the savings made by having evening and weekend calls included.

The new plan can be bought by existing Plusnet customers or by new customers when they buy any Plusnet broadband package. Broadband starts at £9.99 per month.
Customers who’ve already switched their home phone to Plusnet and like the sound of the new plan, can swap for free from the existing £11 per month Anytime package.
