Voyager 105 USB Modem - Quickstart Guide for Apple Mac
1 Download the file 'Voyager105' to a temporary folder on your Hard Disk drive.
2 Uninstall the current drivers from your Macintosh. This is achieved by double clicking on the application Uninstall this is under Macintosh HD/Application/BT Voyager 105 ADSL Modem. Follow the on screen instructions.
3 Create a new folder on your Hard Disk drive - e.g. Voyager Drivers
4 Unstuff the downloaded file Voyager105MAC.sit to the new folder you have created (you will need to use an unzip utility such as stuffit to perform this function).
5 Ensure that the USB cable between the Voyager 105 modem and Macintosh is disconnected.
6 Navigate to the new folder Voyager Drivers and double click on the file BT Installer.app.
Follow the on-screen instructions plugging in the blue USB cable when prompted.
At the end of the installation, restart your Macintosh.
Mac OS9
Installation is complete. You will be able to connect to the Internet via Remote Access, this will still have your username and password details you entered previously.
Mac OSX
When your Macintosh has restarted you will need to configure the modem.
1 Open the application Internet Connect.
2 From the configuration menu select BT Voyager 105.
3To Edit your Username Click the Edit.. button (Mac 10.3 customers need to double click the System Preferences icon in the dock and then select Network).
4 The Network window will appear. Select the PPP tab.
5 Enter your username and password (Supplied by your service provider).
6 Tick the option Save Password.
7 Click Apply and Close the Network Window. You will be returned to the Internet Connect application.
8 Click Connect to make a connection and surf the internet.
Congratulations, you should now be connected to the Internet!
