This page explains how you can manage your account using the Broadband Your Way Control Panel.
You can find your Control Panel by going to the
Connection Settings section of the Member Centre.

Change Your Usage Allowance

Use Change Your Usage Allowance to choose the amount of extra data usage for your Broadband Your Way account. You'll see your current usage allowance and a drop-down list of other amounts you can choose from. If you need a larger or smaller usage allowance than your product currently shows, click Change Your Option in your Control Panel. You can then switch to a new account, either giving you a larger or smaller usage allowance.

Change Your Option

Use
Change Your Option to switch between Broadband Your Way packages, so you can have different data transfer and broadband phone options. We won't charge you anything for switching your option type, so if you ever feel your option doesn't meet your needs you move to a more suitable one.

Change IP Settings

Use
Change IP Settings to change between your default Dynamic IP address and Static IP (and vice versa). To find out why you might need to change your IP type read our
guide to IP Addresses.
To change your IP settings, simply click the 'Turn on...' button. Unless you plan to use your broadband for specialist activities you should choose the Dynamic IP option.
Important - Your IP will only change once you disconnect and restart your broadband connection.

Set a Broadband Price Limit

Use Set a Broadband Price Limit to set yourself a maximum monthly usage limit for your broadband. This handy feature lets you manage your broadband costs, giving you the peace of mind that you won't spend
more than you want to.
Just enter the maximum amount you want to spend on extra usage for the month and click 'Change'.

Change Broadband Firewall Settings

Use
Set my Broadband Firewall to manage the personal firewall settings for your account, guarding your computer from online threats. You can choose the type of protection, either
Basic or
Advanced and the level of protection you need- from 'Off ' to 'High'.

Change Safe Surf Settings
Use Set my Safe Surf option if you want to block access to Peer-to-Peer software and binary newsgroups for added security. This won't affect your surfing, emailing chatting or gaming. (Note: we can't guarantee that all Peer-to-Peer and USENET traffic will be blocked).
