To cancel Wireless Broadband you should raise a Question using the Help Assistant. Read on to find out more about how cancelling will affect your payments. The products and dates shown in these guides are examples only.
Canceling Wireless Broadband timeline example
Step 1 Payment taken for PlusNet broadband and Wireless Broadband products on 1st July
EXAMPLE: Frank is charged £14.99 for Broadband Plus. He is charged £8.80 for Wireless Broadband Subscription 120, paying for the period between 20th July - 19th August. He is also charged for any additional minutes* used between 1st June - 30th June.
Step 2 Cancellation request placed on 15th July
EXAMPLE: Frank contacts PlusNet to cancel his Wireless Broadband Subscription 120 product. He is required to give 30 days notice.
Step 3 Payment taken for PlusNet broadband product on 1st August
EXAMPLE: Frank is charged £14.99 for Broadband Plus. He is not charged for Wireless Broadband Subscription 120, but he is charged for any additional minutes* used between 1st July - 31st July.
Step 4 Cancellation notice of 30 days ends on 15th August
EXAMPLE: Frank's 30 day notice period has now ended.
Step 5 Cancellation of Wireless Broadband product on 20th August
EXAMPLE: Frank's Wireless Broadband Subscription 120 is cancelled on the contract anniversary (20th August). He is unable to use the product from this point onwards.
Step 6 Payment taken for PlusNet broadband product on 1st September
EXAMPLE: Frank is charged £14.99 for Broadband Plus. He is not charged for Wireless Broadband Subscription 120, but he is charged for any additional minutes* used between 1st August - 20th August.
