What's the monthly usage allowance?
- Plusnet Essentials has a 10GB usage allowance
- Plusnet Essentials Fibre has a 40GB usage allowance
- Overnight usage (between midnight and 8am) does not count towards your monthly usage allowance
- If you go over your allowance, it'll be increased by 5GB (at a cost of £5, payable on your next bill) until the end of the month
- Usage doesn't carry over to the next month, at the end of your billing month your allowance will reset to the level shown above

What's the referral value?
Plusnet Essentials and Plusnet Essentials Fibre both have a referral value of 50p per month.
What are the early termination charges?
Contracted Plusnet Broadband and Fibre services are subject to a minimum period of 12 or 18 months. The following monthly early termination charges apply for customers choosing to end their Plusnet Broadband or Fibre service within the minimum period. Customers who choose to end their Plusnet Phone service within the minimum period, or their Plusnet Broadband or Fibre service and Plusnet Phone service within the minimum period, should refer to the Price Guide for details on the Plusnet Phone service early termination charges.
Please note, early termination charges vary according to when the package was taken. Broadband Only customers who choose to end their Plusnet Essentials or Plusnet Essentials Fibre within the minimum term and signed up before June 2013 are charged the ‘Broadband & Phone’ early termination charges as set out in the table below. Charges can be seen in the following tables.
Customers with a phone package will switch to the 'Broadband Only' charge if they choose to cancel their phone plan.

How is traffic prioritisation applied?
We assign all traffic on the network a priority, with the more time-sensitive applications given a higher priority. As the total bandwidth available is shared, this means time-sensitive applications will continue to perform even when the network is busy.
