What to do if you're having problems with your BT Sports channels over Sky.
Signing up and managing BT Sport via Sky
We offer 2 BT Sport packs via the Sky Digital Satellite platform: BT Sport and BT Sport HD.
Both packs include the following channels:
- BT Sport 1
- BT Sport 2
- BT Sport 3
- BT Sport ESPN
BT Sport HD includes all of the above channels in stunning high definition.
With BT Sport from Plusnet, you'll be able to watch 42 live Premier League games (including 18 top picks), Live UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League matches (exclusive to BT Sport), the FA Cup, selected SPFL games, 69 live Aviva Premiership Rugby games, UFC, World title fights, Moto GP - in addition to everything that's included with BT Sport Lite.

To get BT Sport from Plusnet, you'll need to be a Plusnet broadband customer (If you're not with us already, sign up now).
To watch BT Sport in your home, you'll need your television, a compatible Sky satellite receiver box and dish and an active Sky viewing card. To view the BT Sport HD channels you need a compatible Sky HD satellite receiver box and dish connected to a HD ready television using an HDMI cable.
If you don't currently have an active Sky viewing card, don't worry - we can order one for you.
If you want to add BT Sport
You'll need to be a Plusnet broadband customer (If you're not with us already, sign up now) to take one of our BT Sport packs. Then just go to www.plus.net/btsport and follow the instructions on screen.
Please note: To access BT Sport from Plusnet over the Sky Digital Satellite platform, you'll need your television, a compatible Sky satellite receiver box and dish and an active Sky viewing card. To view HD content you'll need a compatible Sky HD satellite receiver box and dish connected to a HD ready television using an HDMI cable.

If you want to remove it
To cancel you'll need to call us on 0800 432 0200 or 0345 140 0200 no later than 2 days before your next billing date. Otherwise you will be charged for the following month.
BT Sport is subject to a one month minimum term starting from your next billing date following sign-up. Please see our Price guide for more details.
No, BT Sport packages from Plusnet have a rolling monthly contract, and can be added or removed without affecting your contracted services.
Please note, BT Sport packages are subject to a 1 month minimum term starting from your next billing date following sign-up. If you cancel your broadband from Plusnet your BT Sport subscription would also be cancelled.

Watching BT Sport Via Sky
You'll only be able to watch BT Sport on the Sky satellite receiver box that's paired to the Sky viewing card you register with us.
BT Sport from Plusnet doesn't support Sky Multiroom and access to BT Sport via the BT Sport app and BT online player is not available.
Once activated, all BT Sport channels will be available in the Sky TV Guide. If you'd prefer to browse to the channels directly, you'll find the numbers below. Note that the numbers depend on whether you've taken BT Sport or BT Sport HD.

BT Sport via Sky features
The BT Sport red button service is used to show multiple live sport events when schedules cause a clash. It's available on BT Sport via the Sky Digital Satellite platform and will mainly be used to show multiple Champions League and Europa League games.
How do I access the BT Sport red button service?
Switch to a BT Sport channel. If red button content is available, a red button icon will appear on screen. When it does, press the red button on your Sky remote.
How do I close the BT Sport red button service?
All you need to do is press the 'Back' button twice on your Sky remote.
What if I can't see the red button icon on screen?
Firstly, please make sure you're watching the correct BT Sport channel and that red button content is being broadcast. If the icon was shown previously and you now can't see it, try pressing the red button.
Please check that your Sky set-top box software is up to date. See your Sky user guide, or online guidance, for help with this.
No, BT Sport red button content is not currently available in HD on the Sky Digital Satellite platform.
If you're watching via the Sky Digital Satellite Platform, recording is not available for programmes broadcast on the BT Sport red button service.
If your Sky satellite receiver box supports Sky+ and you subscribe to the service, you'll be able to use your Sky+ features with BT Sport.

How long it takes to activate your viewing card
If you already have a viewing card, we'll process your order for BT Sport within 48 hours but if you need a new card it'll take a week. So we can ensure you have BT Sport when you want it please don't call us just before a game you want to watch!
How to insert your Sky Viewing Card
Find the viewing card slot at the front of your Sky satellite receiver box (you might need to open a flap, as shown below).

How to pair your Sky Viewing Card to your Sky satellite receiver box
First, insert the card into your Sky satellite receiver box (see above if you're not sure how to do this), then go to: www.skyviewinghelp.com
On the Sky website, under Your details, choose United Kingdom from the dropdown menu.
You'll then need to enter the following details, which you can find in the Services menu. Please see See Where do I find the details to pair my Sky Viewing Card? below if you're not sure how to find these.
- Version number
- Serial number
- Viewing card number
- Receiver ID*
* You'll only need to enter the Receiver ID if one is shown on your Sky satellite receiver box. If you don't have one, just tick No receiver ID.
Where to find the details to pair your Sky Viewing Card
Grab a pen and paper, switch on your TV and Sky satellite receiver box, and follow these steps:
- On your Sky remote control, press Services.
- Scroll to Settings and press Select.
- Highlight System Details and you'll see the settings you need.
- Make sure you note down the following:
- Version Number
- Serial Number
- Viewing Card Number
- Receiver ID (if shown)

Do you have more than one Sky Viewing Card?
Please make sure you're using the Sky Viewing Card that you used to order BT Sport with Plusnet. If this doesn't solve the problem then you may need to pair your Sky Viewing Card. Please see How to pair your Sky Viewing Card to your Sky satellite receiver box in the section above for help with this.
Insert your viewing card
Make sure your Sky card is inserted with the arrow facing the box and the gold chip facing down. If the message is still showing once you've inserted the card, there might be an issue with your Sky satellite receiver box.
If you don't have a viewing card and you've recently ordered a BT Sport pack, your new card will be dispatched once we've processed your order. We'll send an email to your contact address to confirm when it's in the post.
It can take up to five working days for the card to arrive from when we order it. If it's been longer than that, please contact our Support Team for assistance.
Card not active
The viewing card you're using isn't active. If you've been sent a replacement card, please insert it into your Sky satellite receiver box, with the gold chip facing down.

No Satellite signal is being received / No Signal found
Go to channel 999 to see if the same message is showing. If it is, the problem isn't specific to BT Sport. You will need to contact Sky or visit www.sky.com/help/home/sky-tv.
