    BT Sport App from Plusnet

    Find out how to sign up and use the BT Sport App on your mobile or access it online through the BT Sport website.

    You can add or remove the BT Sport App from Plusnet by heading to https://www.plus.net/sportapp and following the instructions on screen.

    Adding the BT Sport App from Plusnet

    • If you add the BT Sport App from Plusnet, it’ll be available to use within 24 hours.
    • The first bill after adding the BT Sport App from Plusnet service will include the charge to cover the period between activation and date of the bill, as well as the next month's subscription.

    Removing the BT Sport App from Plusnet

    • The BT Sport App from Plusnet is subject to a 1 month minimum term from your next billing date following sign-up.
    • If you cancel the BT Sport App from Plusnet, your access will be removed instantly.

    Once you've added the BT Sport App to your account, you'll need to go to the BT site to set up your BT ID. Enter your Plusnet username (What's my username?) and your broadband postcode.

    It can take up to 24 hours to activate your BT ID, after which you'll be able to use your BT ID to log in to the BT Sport App and the online player.

    Once you have registered your BT ID, you can download and install the app from the relevant app store on your mobile or tablet, just search for "BT Sport". Alternatively you can use the following links

    The BT Sport App works on Apple devices running iOS8 or later, Android devices running OS4.3 or later and Windows devices running Windows 10.

    Once downloaded, the BT Sport App is ready to use. You'll just need to enter your BT ID details when asked.

    You need to have Location services switched on or enabled, this is usually found in the Settings area on your device.

    The app only works if you're in the UK, or one of over 25 European destinations listed below:

    Your BT Sport App from Plusnet service also allows you to watch content on the BT Sport website. Once you have created your BT ID, go to www.bt.com/sport and enter your log in details to begin watching.

    To watch content via the BT Sport App from Plusnet service you need a stable internet connection, whether that is over Wi-Fi or a mobile data connection. The BT Sport App and sport.bt.com require a minimum speed of 0.4mbps in order to work correctly, and a speed of 3.5Mbps for high quality playback.

    You should check your mobile coverage or try moving to find a stronger signal.
