What do I need to take a BT Sport channel pack
All you need is one of our YouView TV from Plusnet packages. BT Sport is available on both YouView and YouView+.

What’s the difference between BT Sport and BT Sport Lite?
BT Sport Lite is included as standard with all YouView TV from Plusnet packages and gives you access to BT Sport 1 with 42 live Premier League games (including 18 top picks), selected SPFL games and 69 live Aviva Premiership Rugby games.
BT Sport is an optional channel pack, which for an extra £5 a month gives you access to:
- BT Sport 1
- BT Sport 2
- BT Sport 3
- BT Sport ESPN
- BoxNation
- The BT Sport App and online player
- And 7 BT Sport extra channels.
With BT Sport, you'll get Live UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League matches (exclusive to BT Sport), the FA Cup, UFC, World title fights and Moto GP - in addition to everything that's included with BT Sport Lite.

How do I get the BT Sport Lite channel pack?
It's included as standard with all YouView TV from Plusnet packages, so once you've signed up for YouView TV from Plusnet, you don't need to do anything. Just select BT Sport 1 from the YouView guide and start watching!

How do I get the BT Sport channel pack?
You can add BT Sport pack by going to My Channel Packs. Once you've placed your order, you'll be able to start watching within 24 hours.

Can I get BT Sport channels in HD?
If you wish to watch in HD via your YouView box, you'll need to take our HD channel pack (£3 a month), as well as the BT Sport channel pack. Note that BT Sport Extra channels are not available in HD.
If you don't currently have the HD channel pack, don't worry – you can add it by going to My Channel Packs and you'll be watching BT Sport in HD within 24 hours.
If you are watching via the BT Sport App or online player, you can watch these in HD as standard.
Please note: to view any HD channel via your YouView box, you'll need to connect your YouView or YouView+ set top box to an HD ready television using an HDMI cable.

Will taking BT Sport affect my contract?
No, all channel packs on YouView TV from Plusnet have a rolling monthly contract (with a 1 month minimum term), and can be added or removed without affecting your contracted services.
Once your YouView TV from Plusnet service is active, you can manage your channel packs by going to My Channel Packs.

How will I be able to watch BT Sport via YouView TV from Plusnet?
Content from our channel packs can only be viewed on a set top box supplied by Plusnet (with the exception of BT Sport, as set out below).
YouView TV from Plusnet doesn't support multi-room.
The BT Sport channel pack includes access to content via the BT Sport App and online player which will allow you two watch content on up to 2 devices at the same time, in the UK or over 25 European destinations.

What do I need to watch BT Sport from Plusnet on the Sky Digital Satellite Platform?
To get BT Sport from Plusnet, you'll need to be a Plusnet broadband customer (If you're not with us already, sign up now).
To watch BT Sport in your home, you'll need your television, a compatible Sky satellite receiver box and dish and an active Sky viewing card. To view the BT Sport HD channels you need a compatible Sky HD satellite receiver box and dish connected to a HD ready television using an HDMI cable.

How long does it take to activate my viewing card?
If you already have a viewing card, we'll process your order for BT Sport within 48 hours but if you need a new card it'll take a week. So we can ensure you have BT Sport when you want it please don't call us just before a game you want to watch!

What are BT Sport red button services and where are they available?
BT Sport red button services are used to show multiple live sport events when schedules cause a clash. They are available on YouView TV from Plusnet and Sky Digital Satellite platform services.
The BT Sport Connected Red Button is a new red button service, which is available for YouView TV from Plusnet customers who've also taken our BT Sport channel pack.

What is the BT Sport Connected Red Button?
The BT Sport Connected Red Button is a new service, designed specifically for the Champions League.
It uses the latest TV technology to provide live scores of every match in progress, as well as one-click access to an extensive range of pre-match stats (group tables, pre-match form, starting line-ups), in-match stats (match timelines, goals, red cards, penalties, substitutions, ball-possession, shot-accuracy, fouls), and post-match stats (final scores, group standings, finishing line-ups, ball possession, shot accuracy, fouls).
You can also choose to watch a single game in full-screen and on-screen pop-up alerts will keep you up to date with the latest news as and when the goals happen.

You'll need to take YouView TV from Plusnet service and our BT Sport channel pack. It's not available on the Sky Digital Satellite platform (although standard red button services are available).

Yes - if you're watching BT Sport via YouView TV from Plusnet (and you have a YouView+ box), you can schedule recordings through the YouView guide or simply press the record button while you're watching.

What is a BT ID and why do I need one?
To watch content on the BT Sport App from Plusnet service you need to set up a BT ID. You will receive an email to do this once you have added the BT Sport App from Plusnet to your Account. All you need to do is follow the instructions to get started. If you cannot find the email, you can set up your BT ID now.
Once you have set up your BT ID, you will need to enter this information in order to log into the BT Sport App or online player.

What picture quality is the BT Sport App from Plusnet?
You can watch in HD on the BT Sport App but the picture quality will be determined by the speed of your internet connection. You need a minimum speed of 400Kbps to use the app or online player and speeds of around 3.5Mbps for the best quality.

The BT Sport App works on most phones and tablets. It is also castable so you can watch it on your TV as long as you have a device that can receive the signal, such as a Chromecast or Fire TV stick.
You can also use the online player at sport.bt.com via most web browsers.

Here's the legal bit
YouView TV from Plusnet
To take YouView TV from Plusnet you will need to be a current Plusnet Unlimited Fibre or Plusnet Unlimited Fibre Extra customer with a minimum estimated line speed of 15Mb, and a Plusnet line rental customer. You must sign up for an 18 month minimum contract for:-
- Plusnet Unlimited Fibre or Unlimited Fibre Extra from £15.99 a month in a low cost area (otherwise from £23.49 a month);
- Plusnet line rental at £18.99 a month or Line Rental Saver at £197.88 by paying for 12 months in advance (equivalent of £16.49 a month); and
- YouView TV from Plusnet (Entertainment and BT Sport Lite channel packs included as standard) at £5 a month.
You'll receive a YouView+ or a YouView box, and the Entertainment and BT Sport Lite channel packs as standard. Additional channel packs are subject to a one month minimum term.
The BT Sport channel pack includes access to online content made available by BT via btsport.com and the BT Sport App (excludes the BT Sport Lite channel pack). You can access BT Sport online or via the BT Sport App in the UK and in over 25 European destinations. Use of the service will count towards any relevant usage limit on your broadband or towards any data allowance or data charges. Requires minimum 400kbps line speed or good Wi-fi/3G/4G and a compatible device. Maximum of 2 devices may be used simultaneously. TV licence required. Must be aged 17 or over. Terms apply. BT Sport Extra channels are available in SD only. To view the HD channel pack content you must have a HD Ready television and use the HDMI cable to connect your TV to the Set Top Box. HD channel pack content is dependent upon the other channel packs you subscribe to i.e. certain HD channels will only be available as part of the HD channel pack where you also take the BT Sport channel pack.
A 10m cable will be provided. £40 for powerline adapters if needed. You'll need a minimum line speed of at least 15Mb. YouView is subject to terms of use, suitable broadband speed and suitable coverage; see www.youview.com for more information or to check your digital TV coverage or broadband speed. Aerial upgrade may be required. Prices may vary at any time during the contract. We'll tell you about any important changes in advance.
YouView+ Box = includes a YouView+ box (you'll just pay £7.99 P&P) with 500GB hard drive and the ability to record, pause and rewind TV. Entertainment and BT Sport Lite channel packs included as standard. There is a £50 activation charge.
YouView Box = includes a YouView box (you'll just pay £6.99 P&P) with the ability to pause (SD up to 30 mins and HD up to 15 mins) and rewind TV but you cannot record on this box. Entertainment and BT Sport Lite channel packs included as standard.
YouView TV from Plusnet with an 18 month contract: YouView TV from Plusnet service is subject to a minimum period of 18 months. If you choose to end the YouView TV from Plusnet service within the minimum period, you will have to pay a termination charge by way of compensation to us for ending your service early. This charge will be calculated by multiplying the number of months remaining in your minimum term by a monthly early termination charge, as set out in the Price guide.
TV channels delivered over broadband need the router and YouView box to be connected with an Ethernet cable or powerline adapters. If your router is more than 10m from your TV, you may need to purchase a longer Ethernet cable or powerline adapters at an additional cost (see Price guide for more details). Powerline adapters are subject to the quality of internal wiring in your home, and as a result speeds may vary.
Whilst watching or recording any TV channels delivered over broadband, other online activities might be slower.
User interface images may differ on screen and content is subject to availability. Record only available on YouView+. Catch up/on demand relates to content made available from the BBC, ITV (STV in Scotland), Channel 4, Channel 5, UKTV, Quest OD and S4C. Not all programmes available from past seven days. UTV unavailable via catch up/on demand. Limited ITV content in Scotland and Northern Ireland. Sky Store is a pay per view movie service. NOW TV and Netflix are subscription services. All logos and content images are trademarks and/or copyright of their respective owners. The YouView logo is a registered trademark owned by YouView TV Limited and used under licence.
BT Sport from Plusnet on the Sky Digital Satellite Platform
BT Sport is available to existing UK Plusnet residential broadband customers with a Sky Satellite receiver box, a satellite dish installed and an active viewing card. No access to any online content made available by BT via www.btsport.com or via the BT Sport App is included. Excludes Multiroom. BoxNation available in SD only. There is a minimum term of 1 month starting from your next billing date following sign up.
BT Sport HD requires a Sky HD Satellite receiver box, HD cabling and a HD ready television to view the HD channels.
You don't need a Sky viewing card to order, but if you already have one you'll need to give us the viewing card number.
