Summary: Guide to resetting Voyager 2091 wireless router.
The Voyager 2091 wireless router automatically attempts to connect. This can
make it difficult to change username and password, should you have made a mistake,
or need to use a test login while investigating a connection fault.
This guide shows you how to reset your broadband username and password in
the Voyager 2091, and change the connection options, if required.
- Open your browser and type in the Voyager 2091's Configuration Manager address
- http://voyager.home/
If the screen does not load, make sure your router is switched on and connected.
 |
Go to http://voyager.home/ |
- Click on Advanced... on the left-hand menu. You may be
prompted to provide an admin login name and password. These are 'admin'
and 'admin' by default.
 |
Click Advanced... |
- Click on Quick Setup. This will run you through all the connection settings
of your router.
All the settings should automatically be correct for UK broadband, however
you can compare with the settings described below to confirm they are correct.

You
can select how your router connects to the Internet -
Always on - your router will immediately reconnect
whenever it detects that the connection has dropped.
Dial on Demand - your router will connect whenever it detects
that you are trying to use the Internet. For example, if you try to use your
email while disconnected, the router will try to connect you.
Manually Connect - In order to connect to the Internet, you
must manually click Connect on the Quick Start screen. If you are planning to
use the BT test login, we recommend that you select this option as it will allow
you to change your username and password without going into the Advanced Settings.
Once you have selected, click Next.
