Summary: Guidance on protecting your documents and information using the VPN Centre.
The VPN (Virtual Private Network) Centre allows you to protect your private information and documents. You can restrict access to your Services applications, such as Filestore, Address Book and Diary, by providing a list of IP addresses of people with permission to access your Services. Please Note: The first IP address you enter in the VPN Centre must be the one you are using to view the VPN Centre. If you enter a different IP address you will not be able to access the VPN Centre in future to update your settings. To find out your IP address you can visit www.whatismyip.com or Windows users can click Start, then Run and then type Command. Now type ipconfig and press return to view your IP address. To give an individual user access to your VPN you should enter their IP address in the 'IP Allowed List' area of the VPN Centre and click Add. You should see a message confirming that this IP address has been added. The VPN Centre also allows you to remove access from individual users by entering their IP address and clicking Remove. Only the 'Owner' of a particular group is able to grant and restrict access to the VPN.
