Which? Recommended Provider - Broadband and Phone Packages 2013
Plusnet, has received its fourth consecutive Which? recommendation.
Which?, the largest independent consumer body in the UK, awarded the official recommended status to Plusnet after it achieved 76% in the ‘Broadband Only’ category of the latest survey. In addition, Plusnet has been named in the brand new Which? ‘Broadband and Phone Packages‘ category where it scored an impressive 78%.
Each survey reviews telecoms providers on: value for money; connection speed; connection reliability; customer service; telephone technical support and online technical support. Plusnet scored highly in each category with “telephone technical support” and “customer service” scoring a 5 star recommendation and coming out top of all providers for “value for money” within the dual service category.
uSwitch 2013 - Best Customer Rated Broadband
Plusnet has yet again picked up the ‘Best Customer Rated Home Broadband’ at the uSwitch.com Broadband Awards 2013. Over 2,000 people voted for this award so it’s great to see real customer opinion being the proof of the products and services we deliver.
Broadband Genie 2013 - Best Broadband Provider and Best Budget Provider
Plusnet has swept the board in BroadbandGenie.co.uk Home Broadband Survey 2013. The survey polls consumer opinion and carries out thousands of speed tests before compiling results and we have come top with the highest ratings in all categories: technical support; customer service; reliability; performance and recommendation.
We have also been voted the Best Budget Provider. Broadband Genie is the UK’s leading independent broadband, mobile broadband and smartphone comparison website.

2012
Yorkshire Post Employer of the Year 2012
Plusnet was delighted to be awarded Employer of the Year at the Yorkshire Post's Excellence in Business Awards 2012. The judges said Plusnet was chosen because it manages to keep an informal and friendly culture alive despite employing over 700 people, and evolving into a nationally recognised brand. They also praised the fact every member of staff is encouraged to get involved.
Which? Recommended Provider - Broadband Services 2012
Plusnet’s broadband service has been given a four star rating for “value for money”, “connection reliability”, “customer service” and “technical support” and been named as a Which? Recommended Provider.
Which? Recommended Providers must score well for customer service, ease of set up, connection speed, reliability and technical support and receive an overall score of 70% in their consumer survey.
We also topped the Which? consumer satisfaction survey for its superfast broadband services with a 84% customer satisfaction score. Plusnet’s fibre service was a top performer with 84% overall customer satisfaction in what is the first time Which? has reported on satisfaction with superfast broadband.
Close to 1,000 Plusnet customers were questioned in the survey and gave Plusnet ‘s broadband service an overall score of 74% - an increase of two percent from the last survey conducted in June 2011.
ISPA Awards 2012
Plusnet, won the ‘Best Consumer Fixed Broadband’ award at this year’s Internet Service Providers’ Association (ISPA) awards.
The judges were impressed by Plusnet’s flexibility, good range of services, value for money, 10 day cancellation and pre-configured routers.
Broadband Choices Awards 2012
Plusnet was named in eight out of ten of Broadband Choices’ 2012 Customer Satisfaction Awards.
Plusnet was named top dog in the ‘Best Value for Money’ and ‘Speed of Activation’ categories and also appeared as runners up in a further six categories including Overall Winner, Quality, Reliability, Customer Service and Broadband Speed.
Over 11,000 respondents took part in the Broadband Choices annual survey in 2012.
PC Advisor ISP Awards 2012 - Best Budget Broadband
We are delighted that we’ve been named as the PC Advisor Best Budget Broadband provider for 2012.
Every year, PC Advisor runs a web-based survey that asks readers to assess their home-broadband experience. The respondents of the survey rated us highly across the board, with 91% saying they would recommend Plusnet and a satisfaction rate of 97% overall.
uSwitch Awards 2012
Following on from our success in 2011, yet again we've beaten tough competition to win another 4 trophies at this year's prestigious uSwitch Broadband Awards. We claimed the 'Best Customer Rated Broadband Provider', 'Best Value Home Broadband', 'Most Reliable Service' and 'Most Likely to be Recommended' categories.
Ernest Doku, from uSwitch praised Plusnet's achievements by saying:

Plusnet Value broadband has been given a five star recommendation for "value for money" and a four star recommendation for connection speed, connection reliability, customer service and technical support.
Which? Recommended Providers must score well for customer service, ease of set up, connection speed, reliability and technical support and receive an overall score of 70% in their consumer survey.
Over 750 Plusnet customers were questioned in the survey and gave on overall score of 72%. Which? magazine also lists Plusnet as a "Best Buy" product.
2011 Broadband Choices Customer Satisfaction Awards
Building on last year's success, Plusnet has been highly commended in 13 of the 14 award categories in the 2011 Broadband Choices Customer Satisfaction Awards including: 'Value for Money', 'Customer Service', 'Overall Customer Satisfaction' and 'Quality and Reliability'. Every award in the 'bundle' category praised Plusnet for our combined broadband and home phone service.

We're proud to announce that we've picked up no less than four uSwitch awards in 2011, these were: "Best Customer Service", "Most Likely To Be Recommended", "Best Quality of Connection" and "Best Overall Customer Satisfaction".

We're delighted that we've won "Best Budget Broadband" at the Broadband Genie Home Broadband Awards 2011.
Highlighting that it wasn't just about being cheap, the judges concluded that "Plusnet has proven it is possible to offer cheap home broadband while also going above and beyond when it comes to customer care - something some of its larger rivals can learn from".
PC Advisor ISP Awards 2011
To kick off 2011, we're pleased to announce that we've been recommended in the PC Advisor Home Broadband Survey.
The respondents of the survey highlighted both our good value and high average connection speeds. We are particularly pleased with the 94% satisfaction rate for our customer service, with a 96% satisfaction rate overall.

The judges were impressed with our flexibility and the effective way that we handle complaints.
