How our bolt-ons work
Bolt-ons expire on your plan refresh date. Find out about how bolt-ons work.
General
- All Bolts-ons are valid until your next plan refresh date or until you've used up all the Bolt-on allowance – whichever comes first. Once you have used your Bolt-on allowance, all calls, texts and data as appropriate are chargeable (other than emergency numbers, voicemail and non-geographic numbers starting 0800, 0808, 0500).
- Bolts-ons only take effect from the date they are added to your account. If you exceed your monthly plan allowance before your Bolt-on is activated you will still be required to pay for any out-of-plan charges incurred.
Extra Minutes Bolt-ons
- Extra Minute Bolt-ons for all plans include UK calls to standard UK landlines (starting 01,02,03), UK mobiles and 070 personal numbering services when in the UK and calls to standard UK landlines (starting 01, 02, 03), standard Roam Like at Home landlines, UK mobiles, 070 personal numbering services and Roam Like at Home mobiles when in Roam Like at Home destinations. All other calls are excluded (for example calls while roaming and to premium or business rate numbers), see our Mobile Price Guide for full details.
- The charge for calls to service numbers beginning with 084, 087, 09 and 118 consists of a 19p per minute access charge from Plusnet, plus a service charge set by the organisation you called.
- For any mobile call plan or bolt-on including 500 or more inclusive minutes that includes calls to 070 personal numbering services, you shall not make more than 150 calls or 500 minutes (whichever is reached first) a month. If you exceed this limit, we have the right to charge you for further calls made, suspend and/or terminate your service in accordance with our terms and conditions.
Extra Texts Bolt-ons
- Extra Text Bolt-ons for all plans include standard texts to UK mobiles when in the UK, and standard texts to UK mobiles and Roam Like at Home mobiles when in Roam Like at Home destinations. All other texts are excluded (for example multimedia and picture messages are always chargeable), see our Mobile Price Guide for full details.
Extra Data Bolt-ons
- Extra Data Bolt-ons all plans include data use when in the UK and Roam Like at Home destinations. All other data use is excluded (for example data use while roaming), see our Mobile Price Guide for full details.
