Terms and Conditions

Only one competition entry per household and one entry per PlusNet account will be accepted.

The prize draw competition closes on 16th May 2005. Entries received after this date will not be eligible for entry.

The winners will receive formal notification by email and telephone within 21 days of the closing date.

Only a fully completed entry form will be considered as a valid entry. This must include your PlusNet username to retrieve your delivery address in the event of a prize being awarded. The entry form is displayed upon completion of registration for the broadband service.

No purchase is necessary. If you want to enter this draw without the registration of a PlusNet account, you can write to the following address, stating the details of the competition: PlusNet, PO Box 3704, Terry Street, Sheffield, S9 2WL, UK. Requests by letter must be received before the closing date of the competition.

The prize draw will be judged and independently adjudicated from all correct and valid submitted entries after the closing date.

All broadband customers are eligible for entry. The competition is not open to employees of PlusNet plc or their families, their agents, and anyone else who may be professionally connected to the promotion. Customers outside of the geographical area serviced by PlusNet are not eligible.

There is one prize package to be won. Only one prize will be given to the competition winner. The prize package consists of one Apple iPod 20GB and one Altec Lansing iM3 audio system. There are no other prizes or cash alternatives offered. PlusNet reserves the right to substitute similar products of equal or greater value for the stated products at its discretion. PlusNet plc cannot be held responsible in the event that a company which is providing the prize is unable to honour its obligation, for whatever reason.

Submission of entries or proof of postage will not constitute proof of receipt. No responsibility will be accepted by PlusNet for entries which are not received. PlusNet shall not be liable for any loss or corruption of data in transit. No responsibility will be accepted for entries, which are lost, delayed or damaged. Illegible, incomplete, late or defaced entries will be disqualified.

PlusNet will not be liable for any damage, loss or disappointment suffered by any person taking part or not being able to take part in the competition.

Winners may be asked to take part in any publicity reasonably requested. PlusNet plc will respect the rights and privacy of the prize-winner at all times. PlusNet plc is compliant with the Data Protection Act. Our policy is such that will not pass on your details to any third party without your prior consent excepting for the purpose of the delivery of your prize if you are a winner.

Prizes will be dispatched as soon as possible after notification to the prize winner. PlusNet plc cannot be held liable for non-delivery of the prize.

The judges' decision is final with regards to any and all aspects of this competition and no correspondence will be entered into.

By entering, you understand that we will occasionally contact you with news about offers, competitions and products that we believe to be of interest to you. Your email preferences will be updated within 1 working day and you may then opt-out of future updates at any time.

We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time.

Entry into the prize draw constitutes acceptance of these terms and entrants will be deemed to agree to be bound by them

Details of winners will be published to the PlusNet website no more than 28 days after the closing date of the competition.
