Prices, content and terms may change at any time during your contract. We'll tell you about important changes in advance, and if a change is detrimental you'll be able to end your contract without any fees.
∞Plusnet's Unlimited broadband network is designed to provide enough capacity for all our customers and so you will generally be able to achieve the fastest possible speed your line will allow. We don't limit your line speed, usage or downloads. If you or your family are trying to do more online than your line speed will allow, we prioritise the traffic in your home. In this situation we will ensure time sensitive uses, like video calls or the latest must-see box set speed along whilst software downloads, which aren't time critical, can carry on more slowly in the background. **Price and product changes – 29th June 2017
The following pricing and product changes will apply from 29th June 2017 as set out below:-
- We will introduce a new call feature for Plusnet line rental customers called 'Plusnet Call Protect'. This free feature will catch nuisance calls on your landline and send them straight to junk voicemail. More information can be found here
- For new and existing Plusnet Home Phone customers:-
- Line rental will increase from £17.99 per month to £18.99 per month
- Line Rental Saver will increase from £185.88 per year (equivalent of £15.49 per month) to £197.88 per year, (equivalent of £16.49 per month)
- Call setup fees will increase from 19 pence to 21 pence
- Call charges for landline to mobile calls will increase from 12.54 pence per minute to 14.65 pence per minute
- The Anytime International 300 call plan will increase from £7.50 per month to £8.00 per month
- For existing Plusnet Home Phone customers:-
- The Anytime, the Plusnet Anytime and the Talk Anytime call plans will increase from £6.50 per month to £7.00 per month
- The Plusnet Anytime International 300 & the Talk Anytime International 300 call plans will increase from £7.50 per month to £8.00 per month
- We will be increasing the call cap on the Anytime International 300 call plan for International calls from 30 to 60 minutes. If you hang up before 60 minutes and redial you will not be charged if you are still within your 300 inclusive International minutes.
- We will be introducing a fair usage limit of 150 calls or 1000 minutes a month (whichever is reached first) for calls to 0845 and 0870 numbers on all of our call plans which have inclusive 0845 and 0870 calls. If this limit is breached we will hold the right to bar your phone line or cease your account.
- Our early termination charges will change. How much depends on your package.

Plusnet Price and Product Change FAQ
On 29th June 2017 we'll be making a few changes to our pricing, products and terms and conditions – here's a handy FAQ that covers everything you need to know.
Why are you making changes?
We're always reluctant to increase prices, but even we have to sometimes.
This allows us to continue providing brilliant service (we won 21 awards in the past year!) at great value and introduce benefits such as Plusnet Call Protect – the free service which helps stamp out nuisance calls.
See below for all the awards we've won over the past year.
Which services are affected?
Pricing changes apply to Plusnet line rental, Line Rental Saver, home phone packages, early termination charges, call charges and call set up fees. They will come into effect from 29th June 2017 and you'll see the new pricing appear on your next bill from that date.
For those who opt for Line Rental Saver you will be charged the new rate at the point of renewal, or at the point of signup if you take Line Rental Saver from the 29th June onwards.*
What changes are you making to line rental?
The cost of our line rental will increase by £1 from £17.99 to £18.99 per month.
We are also increasing the cost of Line Rental Saver. This will increase by £12 from £185.88 (£15.49 a month) to £197.88 (£16.49 a month). This will be applied at the point of sign-up or renewal from 29th June.
What changes are you making to call plans?
From 29th June 2017, we will be introducing a fair usage limit on 0845 and 0870 calls of 150 calls or 1000 minutes a month (whichever is reached first) for all call plans which include calls to these numbers.
These are the changes we're making to our call plans available to new Plusnet customers from 29th June:-

300 Anytime minutes: (Anytime international 300). Means 300 inclusive minutes to USA mobiles, Canada mobiles and all landlines listed in our top 35 international destinations. The call cap has now increased from 30 minutes for international calls to 60 minutes. If you hang up and re-dial before 60 minutes (local and international) you won't be charged.
Our fair usage policy applies to the Anytime International call plan.
This new price will be visible on your first bill from 29th June 2017. The fair usage policy applies to this call plan.
What changes are you making to individual call charges?
Charges have also increased to our call set-up fees (where applicable) and calls to mobiles.

What other changes are you making?
Our early termination charges for line rental are increasing from £7.81 to £8.54 a month from the 29th June 2017. However these charges are reducing, or staying the same, across our broadband products, as set out in the table below.
These charges are applied if you terminate your contract within the minimum term, and are calculated based on which service you have and the how many months you have remaining on your contract.

Our home phone service
Our line rental costs £17.99 (£18.99 from 29th June 2017) a month or £15.49 monthly equivalent (£16.49 monthly equivalent if purchased from 29th June 2017) if you pay 12 months in advance (Line only as standard - calls to Plusnet Support and other Plusnet phone customers included).

Broadband speed: We'll give you the best download speed available (up to 17Mb if you live in a high speed area) dependent on your location, phone line, home wiring and time of day. Because of these factors your speed may be higher or lower than up to 17Mb. We'll provide you with a speed estimate when you check availability of our products. Find out why speeds vary.
Broadband with a 12 or 18 month contract: There's a £35.00 activation fee, but we'll give you this for £10.00 if your package includes line rental. We'll also include a wireless router worth £40. If you choose to end your Plusnet Broadband service within the minimum period, you will have to pay a termination charge by way of compensation to us for ending your service early. This charge is calculated by multiplying the number of months remaining in your minimum term by a monthly early termination charge, as set out in the Price guide.
Broadband without a 12 or 18 month contract: There's a £60.00 activation fee but we'll reduce this to £50.00 if your package includes line rental. You can use your own router if it's compatible, or you can take our router. Minimum term of 30 days.
Fibre Broadband
† Fibre broadband speed is described as 'up to' because your actual speeds will vary. We'll give you the best speed available on your line, with up to 76Mb download speed and 19Mb upload speeds on Unlimited Fibre Extra, and up to 38Mb download speed and 1.9Mb upload speeds on Unlimited Fibre. This is dependent on your location, phone line, home wiring and time of day. We'll provide you with a speed estimate when you check availability of our products. Find out why speeds vary.
Up to 8x times faster: Speeds based on average standard (ADSL) broadband download averages from Ofcom report November 2013. Speeds are affected by various factors including location, home wiring and time of day. Find out why speeds vary.
Fibre broadband with a 12 or 18 month contract: There's a £50.00 activation fee, but we'll reduce this to £25.00 if your package includes line rental. The Plusnet Fibre service is subject to a minimum period of 12 or 18 months. If you choose to end your Plusnet Fibre service within the minimum period, you will have to pay a termination charge by way of compensation to us for ending your service early. This charge will be calculated by multiplying the number of months remaining in your minimum term by a monthly early termination charge, as set out in the Price guide.

Service calls outside of your inclusive minutes: From 1 July 2015, the charge for calls to service numbers beginning 084, 087, 09 and 118 consists of a 9.58p per minute access charge from Plusnet, plus a service charge set by the company you called. For more information visit www.plus.net/ukcalling

Unlimited Broadband when taken with Plusnet line rental
- With a 30 day contract: If you live in a low cost area it costs £5.00 a month for the first 12 months then from £12.49 a month. If you live outside one of these areas it costs £12.50 a month for the first 12 months, current price from month 13 is £19.99 a month. A £50.00 activation fee applies.
- With a 12 month contract: If you live in a low cost area it costs £7.01 a month for the first 12 months, £9.99 a month thereafter. If you live outside one of these areas it costs £14.51 a month for the first 12 months, £17.49 a month thereafter. A £10.00 activation fee applies.
- With a 18 month contract: If you live in a low cost area it costs £4.51 a month for the first 18 months, £9.99 a month thereafter. If you live outside one of these areas it costs £12.01 a month for the first 18 months and £17.49 thereafter. A £10.00 activation fee applies.

- With an 18 month contract: If you live in a low cost area it costs £22.49 a month. If you live outside one of these areas it costs £29.99 a month. A £50.00 activation fee applies.
A broadband cease charge, as set out in our Price guide, is payable if you choose to end your agreement for your Plusnet Broadband service and the service is ceased or you are switching your service to another provider on a different network.
YouView TV from Plusnet
To take YouView TV from Plusnet you will need to be a current Plusnet Unlimited Fibre or Plusnet Unlimited Fibre Extra customer, with a minimum estimated line speed of 15Mb, and a Plusnet line rental customer. You must sign up for an 18 month minimum contract for:-
- Plusnet Unlimited Fibre or Unlimited Fibre Extra;
- Plusnet line rental; and
- YouView TV from Plusnet (Entertainment and BT Sport Lite channel packs included as standard).
You’ll receive a YouView + or a YouView box, and the Entertainment and BT Sport Lite channel packs as standard. Additional channel packs are subject to a one month minimum term. BT Sport Lite and BT Sport channel packs do not include access to any online content made available by BT via btsport.com or the BT Sport App. BT Sport Extra channels are available in SD only. 12 UEFA Champions League games and 14 UEFA Europa League shown free to air on BT Sport Showcase 2016/17. To view the HD channel pack content you must have a HD Ready television and use the HDMI cable to connect your TV to the Set Top Box. HD channel pack content is dependent upon the other channel packs you subscribe to i.e. certain HD channels will only be available as part of the HD channel pack where you also take the BT Sport channel pack.
A 10m cable will be provided. £40 for powerline adapters if needed. You’ll need a minimum line speed of at least 15Mb. YouView+ Box = includes a YouView+ box (you'll just pay £7.99 P&P) with 500GB hard drive and the ability to record, pause and rewind TV. Entertainment and BT Sport Lite channel packs included as standard. There is a £50 activation charge.
YouView Box = includes a YouView box (you'll just pay £6.99 P&P) with the ability to pause (SD up to 30 mins and HD up to 15 mins) and rewind TV but you cannot record on this box. Entertainment and BT Sport Lite channel packs included as standard.
YouView TV from Plusnet with an 18 month contract: YouView TV from Plusnet service is subject to a minimum period of 18 months. If you choose to end the YouView TV from Plusnet service within the minimum period, you will have to pay a termination charge by way of compensation to us for ending your service early. This charge will be calculated by multiplying the number of months remaining in your minimum term by a monthly early termination charge, as set out in the Price guide.
TV channels delivered over broadband need the router and YouView box to be connected with an Ethernet cable or powerline adapters. If your router is more than 10m from your TV, you may need to purchase a longer Ethernet cable or powerline adapters at an additional cost (see Price guide for more details). Powerline adapters are subject to the quality of internal wiring in your home, and as a result speeds may vary.
Whilst watching or recording any TV channels delivered over broadband, other online activities might be slower.
User interface images may differ on screen and content is subject to availability. Record only available on YouView+. Catch up/on demand relates to content made available from the BBC, ITV (STV in Scotland and not available in Northern Ireland), Channel 4, Channel 5, UKTV, Quest OD and S4C. Not all programmes available from past seven days. UTV unavailable via catch up/on demand. Sky Store is a pay per view movie service. NOW TV and Netflix are subscription services.
