The Internet any time you want for just £4.99 a month

PlusNet launch new 'entry-level' unmetered access product

PlusNet are pleased to announce today's addition of a new entry-level product to their popular unmetered Connect range. Connect Start, priced at only £4.99 a month, now makes unmetered Internet access for the Home cheaper than ever.

This groundbreaking price allows the residential customer to connect to the Internet for up to 5 hours per week, at any time of day, without the call appearing on their phone bill. The equivalent of less than 17p per day, that's cheaper than a postage stamp or daily newspaper, gives you access to all the email and news you want.

Unmetered Internet access, so called because the monthly subscription includes all connection costs, is well established with frequent Internet users. Connect Start will appeal to those yet to make the move to unmetered.

“Connecting to the Internet for a couple of hours a week with standard ‘local rate’ dialup could cost you anything up to £20 a month*,” explained Marco Potesta, Commercial Director at PlusNet.

“Unmetered Connect means you pay a simple flat fee for a guaranteed number of access hours which can be used at any time of day - including peak periods. Today’s launch of Connect Start at £4.99 provides an attractive proposition, especially to those customers who only connect infrequently.”

The PlusNet Connect range features products tailored to the demands of all types of customers, both residential and business.

The PlusNet Connect range was first launched in June 2001 and features a range of unmetered products for both Home and Business use. Each features a recommended number of hours per week and comes with a range of email and web hosting services, including domain hosting and advanced web services as standard.
