Plusnet That’ll Do Stars – Award Application Terms & Conditions
The That’ll Do Stars 2021 is open to UK small businesses who started operating no earlier than 1st March 2020 and have no more than 20 employees, other than those excluded by these Terms and Conditions. Only one award application per small business.
The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants and check their identity.
The Promoter’s That’ll Do Stars 2021 applications will run from 09:30am on Tuesday 1st June 2021 until 12am on 25th June 2021. Entries submitted outside of this period will not be eligible for a badge.
To apply for a That’ll Do Star, entrants will need to fill out the application form via plus.net/thatlldostars.
All verified applications will be contacted by email and sent a digital That’ll Do Star badge artwork pack that you are entitled to display as follows:
Display the digital version on your website and social channels, making it big enough to read clearly and with enough space to not clash with other elements.
Display the physical decal versions in your workplace - this may be a shop window, workshop or other physical space where you have permission to display your own materials.
On your own vehicles, ensuring it does not block your view or otherwise cause danger to anyone.
You will use the digital and physical assets we’ve supplied you and not alter or recreate the badge yourself in any way.
You will not give the digital or physical assets to anyone else to pass off as their own or benefit from as non-official winners.
You will not use the badge or refer to Plusnet in any negative or malicious way.
The Promoter grants the entrant usage of the That’ll Do Star 2021 badge artwork from the 28th June 2021 – 27th June 2022 only, unless otherwise agreed between the Promoter and entrant.
No cash or other alternative in part or full will be offered in the place of award. That’ll Do Stars are not transferable. In the event of unforeseen circumstances the Promoter reserves the right to offer alternative badge.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant resulting from submitting an application or by the entrant’s acceptance of the That’ll Do Stars award, or any damage to any entrant’s or other person’s computer or mobile phone equipment as a consequence of downloading any material relating to this promotion.
This promotion is governed by the laws of England and Wales.

No Entry may contain unlawful, obscene or objectionable material. The Promoter also reserves the right at any time during the That’ll Do Stars 2021 to remove or disqualify any Entry when it believes in its sole discretion that the entrant has:
infringed any third party's copyright;
does not comply with these Terms and Conditions; or
failed to obtain the necessary consents as set out in these terms and conditions.
The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to award the That’ll Do Stars 2021 award to:
employees and immediate families of the Promoter and anyone else professionally associated with, the promotion or the Promoter;
any entrant posting or seen to be posting comments to the Promoter Facebook or Twitter page or elsewhere that are considered offensive, bullying, spiteful or upsetting to other customers or the Promoter or directly aimed at the Promoter, will have their comments removed and will be disqualified from participating in the competition;
any applications found containing offensive or abusive inappropriate content so deemed by the Promoter;
applications automatically generated by computers; or
any entrant or application that is in breach of these terms
The entrant must be the original creator of the application and must have obtained the necessary permissions for the inclusion of copyrighted images (if any) within the application. The application must not infringe the rights of privacy and publicity, copyright, trademarks or intellectual property rights of any person or organisation.
If the entrant uses any material or elements in the application which are subject to the rights of a third party, the entrant must obtain prior to submission of the application. Such consent(s) shall be at the expense of the entrant. A non-exhaustive list of such material or elements include: name, likeness of any person and/or audio-visual material which the entrant does not own.
By submitting an application, entrants agree that the Promoter may showcase their Entries on the Promoter's website and any other media in connection with the That’ll Do Stars 2021 award and use their names, likenesses, photographs and/or biographical information (as it appears on Facebook or Twitter) and Entries for advertising, publicity and promotional purposes without additional compensation.
You agree the Promoter may use your information to: check your eligibility and facilitate the provision of the badge (which may involve passing data to third parties).
The third parties we use may be located in the UK, other countries in the European Economic Area or elsewhere in the world (for example in the United States). Different privacy laws may apply outside of the European Economic Area and you understand and consent to the transfer of your personal information to these countries.
The entrant agrees that the Promoter shall not be liable for any claims, costs, liabilities, damages, expenses and losses arising out of
the Promoter’s use of the entrant's application;
the entrant's participation in That’ll Do Stars 2021;
technical failures of any kind including but not limited to problems or delays arising from software or equipment malfunctions or computer viruses; or
any events outside the Promoter 's reasonable control. Nothing in this clause shall be construed to exclude or limit the Promoter's liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or any other liability, which by law cannot be excluded or limited.
