3 steps to switching

You'll need a code from your mobile provider to move your service to us. Just choose if you'd like to bring your current number with you too.

Ask your provider for a switching code

To keep your number you’ll need a Porting Authorisation Code (PAC). Text PAC to 65075. It’s free and quick.

Wait for a reply

Around 60 seconds later you’ll get your code. It will expire within 30 days - after this you'll need to request a new one.

Choose a deal

Pick a super SIM-only deal, enter your switching code before completing your order and that's it! We'll take care of the rest.

In 1-2 days your shiny new SIM will be with you. Your number will be transferred to Plusnet the day after and we'll cancel your old contract for you.

What will happen when I switch?

You’ll get and SMS and email reminder before your switch. On the day there might be a little disruption as you’re transferred, but it won’t last long and we’ll text you as soon as the switch is complete.

How long will it take?

Switching your mobile number to or from Plusnet takes just 1 working day, if you submit your request Monday-Friday before 5:30pm.

Do I need to tell my current provider?

By asking for a PAC or STAC code we’ll do the work to get your existing contract cancelled. All you need to do is follow the steps above. It’s as easy as that.

Can I transfer my number later?

You can switch your mobile number to us when you sign up. Or if you change your mind a bit later and decide you’d like to transfer your number – not a problem, just text or call us.

Can I cancel a switch?

Yes, just contact us (or the mobile provider you’re moving to) before 6pm the working day prior to the day your service is due to transfer.

I want to move to a new provider

If you’re not happy with your Plusnet Mobile service, why not check if we can give you a better deal? Call us for free on 500 from your Plusnet mobile, or 0800 079 1133 from any other phone.
